Happy New Year, Friends!
What a whirlwind the holidays were! I traveled west to North Dakota with my family for Christmas and I had THE most relaxing time (and got a little sick too). I love being able to spend time with my family, but nothing prepares you for that 9 hour travel day back home when the Christmas spirit starts dwindling. So how did I spend my time in the car? Watching “What I Got For Christmas” hauls on Youtube of course! It inspired me to do my own little Christmas gift haul, but blog style. I selected a few of my favorite gifts I received this year to share with you, and those I thought you guys would be interested in getting for yourself! Check them out below!
I’m stoked about this gift! As a creator, I’m always learning and seeking inspiration for my blog, Instagram and campaign shoots. I’ve seen a ton of influencers recommend this book to step up your photography-game on your social accounts. I’m so excited to use this book as a handbook to guide me creatively!
If you’ve been following my blog for a while, you’re probably aware of my addiction to Glossier. I am the biggest fan of their natural-enhancing makeup, and I’ve recently been testing out their skincare. I am SO happy these babies are in my everyday makeup bag. If you’ve been on the fence about buying them, I’m here to sway your decision to absolutely yes.
I’ve been eyeing the Chloe ring bags for YEARS, however, they cost a small fortune. Thankfully, I found this dupe of the bags I’ve been eyeing on Amazon! We love affordable fashion without sacrificing quality. Plus, I’ve already received so many compliments on this bag, and have even had people thinking it’s the real deal!
Minimalistic gold jewelry is IN! I first spotted lock earrings on blogger, @paytonsartain, but hers were much more expensive. These dainty earrings are so affordable, and again, amazing quality too. I wear them with just about everything.
These are both trending shoes right now and are probably crowding our Instagram feed. I had to jump on the bandwagon…in my defense, I don’t own any casual sneakers! I haven’t gotten around to wearing my Air Force 1’s yet (I’m scared they’ll get dirty), but I’ve had a ton fun mixing prints into my outfits with the platform checker vans.
I don’t splurge on high-end makeup…ever, so when I do, you know it must be a NEED. There’s something about the colors in this KKW Beauty palette that called my name. It could be the gorgeous shades of pink and heavenly mustard yellow? It really felt like my kind of everyday palette!
I hope Santa left you a little treat to be able to snag some of these goodies for yourself! I’m so thankful for the people I received these gifts from.
What did you get for Christmas? Let me know in the comments!
